Episode #52: Not your traditional ‘Oil Guy’

This week we interview one of the newest members of the Board at Exxon-Mobil… you might have heard of the activist shareholder revolt that put him there! Meet Greg Goff, an inspiring, successful former CEO (Named one of the “Best-Performing CEOs in the World” by Harvard Business Review in 2018) founder of a leadership institute and a purpose driven transformation leader. We discuss the power of purpose and how to make it matter in the rough and tumble world of the Oil business, his view of ‘strategic’ leadership and how to help young people get there faster, and earlier, and the journey of activism at Exxon Mobil. A wide-ranging discussion with someone with a strong bias to action and making a positive difference in the world.
